It was close to the mts center, if you are seeing a concert or sporting event. It was near the Forks if you want to go for a scenic walk. I was near some decent restaurants as well. The on site restaurant was pretty good also.
The room was very nice but is not really necessary for the average traveler. It seems like a great place for a businessman. They charged 11 dollars a day for parking in an outside parking lot, which was excessive and should have been included in the price.
We had a large family gathering and the suite was comfortable for all of us in one room.
Elevators often had line ups and getting extra pods for coffee was difficult.
Location is good and within walking distance to several city attractions
Full kitchen, Keurig coffee and Pharmacopis Natural Body Care products, comfy leather chair and ottoman make for a pleasant stay.
It is an all suite hotel, which I enjoy. Also, the location is superb, being in the downtown core.
The location is good, the beds are comfortable and the suite was nice, its near everything , transportation is near , there is supermarket down the hotel, staff are friendly
There is a very baaaaad smell in the lobby, when check out i had to help the person to carry my bags cuz he just dont know what to do just standing and watching me which made me upset
Nice rooms and very secure
The hotel is just on the edge of being in the depressed part of the city. Winnipeg is clean but is not as vibrant of a city as I was expecting. It was easy to drive in and out of the hotel and parking is extra but very reasonable. The hotel exchanges money and that is a plus if are in Winnipeg on a weekend because not much is open, the whole area was very quiet as we were there from a Sat. To Mon.
Staff excellent, loacation fine and very pet friendly
Security features; on-site parking; location to downtown; large & comfortable size of suites; modern facilities; water pressure!
Need to supply napkins or paper towels for kitchen
1) Cleaning staff only leave 1 face-cloth, despite requests for more (there were 2 people staying in the room) 2) Internet did not work -- either wired, or wireless
I thouhgt the room was big, clean the furniture was a bit beat up but not that important. Staff was fine and the location. The kitchenette was handy for some light meals.
The TV in the living room could have been bigger and same with the TV in the Bedroom. The paint and carpeting could be more colorful.
The room was very comfortable. I had a normal sized fridge with a freezer amnd a microwave which meant I could store food and drinks and make my own meals in stove top, oven or microwave. The bath room was very clean and luxurious and i enjoyed the bath!!! The bed was so comfortable I did not want to get out. The room was very warm even on the coldest of days and the TV was a good size with a comfy chair... There was an amazing gym which I could have used. Great staff and good food, business centre to use the internet. Close to the City shops and the forks. i loved it and it was very good vaour for money. I stayed 9 nights and would recommend to anyone!
Very comfortable efficient for the business traveller
The rooms were very nice, we stayed in an Executive Studio Suite, which was wonderful, the beds were very comfy!! Also had a not bad view of the city from the upper level hotel rooms.
Parking provided at the hotel could be better, there is no free parking for hotel guests and rates are steep. Hotel staff werent very friendly or welcoming, for the very few times that I even saw any.
The condo was great - the set up is perfect with a kitchen area, living and dining areas, and a separate bedroom out back (corner suite). This helps with longer stays - just pick up some groceries, prepare your coffee and breakfast, leave for the office and return as you would back home to prepare supper. Kitchen has most of the necessary tools to prepare meals so it really does feel like home without being at home. More than enough towels and toiletries, beds were so comfy. Though I did not travel with family, this is the perfect set up for families.
Apparently they are upgrading their cable to satellite - my living room tv was down for 2 of my 4 nights, but the Asst Maintenance Mgr was AMAZING - excellent customer service and tried his best to get it working. I was working in the middle of the night, internet connection was lost (about 4am). Phoned the front desk several times between 4 and 6am, no answer, no machine, no response. Finally just after 6 someone answered and gave me a new code - when I checked out (that same morning), I asked why my code was no longer valid since I was still a guest - they advised they change the code once a month and that was the night ... I suggested they advise their guests of that - it was inconvenient.
